Managing your Team
The course will look at how to manage the players in your team. How to create teams within teams, choosing your captains, squad rotation, personal and team goal setting. Examples from the world of professional football and other sports will be drawn upon to show how industry can learn from these high profile result orientated businesses.

Peaking for Performance
Peaking for Performance is widely used in sport and has become very prevalent in Olympic Sports. The course will show you how to manage your staff and your business to meet specific targets, key dates and ensure that your team are  working towards the targets and peaking at the right times to give you the best chance of success.

Pressure is Pleasure
There are few industries that put an individual under as much personal pressure as sport and few more than golf. Making a putt in front of thousands and millions in a TV audience requires amazing mental toughness. The course will show how some of these mental toughness techniques, focus and motivation can be introduced into your everyday working life to make you mentally tough.

Match Point
One decision can be the difference between winning and losing in professional sport and the planning, practice and dedication that goes into that one moment are practiced, drilled and put into routines to ensure that the opportunity is taken when it comes along. This course will help you work out how to put your own routines in place to make sure you and your team don't miss out on your chance to 'win' in your own industry.

Building a Brand
There are few brands larger than Nike. Jim Pearson was responsible for introducing the Nike brand into football in the UK. He was instrumental in establishing the brand and signing such players as Eric Cantona and Ian Rush and teams including Arsenal. Jim will share some of the ideas, strategies and tactics involved with the Nike brand.

Know no Boundaries

Sport is an industry that is constantly pushing itself to new limits. The Olympic motto of "Citius, Altius, Fortius", which is Latin for "Faster, Higher, Stronger" and this is the motivation for most people in sport. The course will cover the methods and motivational techniques which are used to help individuals and teams set targets and then put plans in place to work towards and achieve these targets taking everyone to a new level,

Try, Try and Try again
The course looks at how people involved in sport maintain a positive approach to their training and performance even when things don't go as planned. The levels of dedication, work ethic, self-motivation and perseverance in sport can be used as examples and replicated for people working in many different industries. The course will discuss some of the methods and techniques used in sport and how then can be introduced into the corporate world.

First Past the Post
The only people that say "it's not about the winning it's about the taking part" are those that don't win ! There is a major difference between this and the famous inscription on centre court at Wimbledon "if you can meet with triumph and disaster and treat those imposter's just the same". The course will examine the methods used in sport to work towards 'winning' and how to overcome barriers, negative results and the set backs that you may meet along the way.
